Ketan Agarwal Murder Case: New revelations are emerging daily in the Ketan Agarwal murder case, which has become a talk of the town. Now, Ashutosh Srivastava, the lawyer representing the main accused, Siya Goyal, has given the case a new twist, claiming that the police have no direct evidence or eyewitnesses against his client.

Speaking to news agency PTI, Srivastava said that the police investigation is ongoing, and at this stage, there is no concrete evidence that proves Siya is guilty.

"I don't believe there is any independent witness or eyewitness who saw Siya committing the crime. Siya is fully cooperating with the police so that the investigation can reach a fair conclusion and the truth can be revealed in court," he said.

Over 2,000 Calls Between Two Main Accused: Police

On the other hand, Pune Rural Police claimed that they have strong technical evidence in the case. According to the police, the accused, Siya, and her alleged boyfriend, Chetan Chaudhary, were in constant contact for the past six months. They spoke 2,004 times during this period, totalling approximately 238 hours on the phone. Many calls lasted more than two to three hours.

According to Pune Rural Superintendent of Police, Sandeep Singh Gill, the length of the conversation and CCTV footage raises suspicions that a major conspiracy was hatched behind Ketan's death.

What Happened On June 18?

On June 18, 26-year-old Ketan died after falling from the Lohagarh Fort, over 65 km away from Pune. He had gone there for a visit with his fiancée, Siya. However, the police probe found that Chetan pushed him from the fort after getting a signal from Siya.

Pune Rural Deputy Superintendent of Police Gajanan Tompe said several police teams are investigating the case from different angles.

He added that several people have been questioned so far, and Siya's brother and some other relatives are also being questioned to get to the bottom of the matter.
