Security forces have arrived at the scene, the officials said. The locals are being shifted to a safer location, the officials said. Noting that local media reports attributed the explosion to a drone attack, officials said the cause of the blast was yet to be established.
The Kadangband village is situated six km away from Koutruk village, where, on September 1, the state's first drone bomb attack killed a 31-year-old woman and injured 12 others. The drone strike had sent shockwaves throughout the security establishment of the country.
