Naidunia Representative, Bhopal: Residents across several major residential and commercial areas of the city will experience power outages lasting four to six hours on Monday. The Central Zone Electricity Distribution Company has announced that power supply from multiple feeders will be suspended starting at 10 AM to facilitate essential maintenance work on local substations and power lines.

The utility company has advised residents to store sufficient water and charge electronic devices in advance to minimise inconvenience during the outage.

Bhopal Power Cut: Affected Areas And Timings

10:00 AM to 2:00 PM (4-Hour Shutdown)

  • Ashoka Garden
  • Ashok Vihar
  • Ashok Samrat
  • Dussehra Ground
  • Antyodaya Nagar
  • Durga Temple
  • Municipal Corporation Colony and surrounding areas.

10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (6-Hour Shutdown)

  • Hathaikheda and Anand Nagar: Siddharth Lake City Colony, Hathaikheda, Hathaikheda cremation ground, Rishipuram, IVRI Colony, Hathaikheda Church, Corporate Colony, Gupta Colony, Press Colony, and surrounding areas.
  • Galla Mandi and CI Colony: CI Colony, Bank Colony, Slaughter House, Galla Mandi, Hammal Colony, Jogipura, Neem Road, and nearby areas.
  • Old City and Local Mohallas: Jogipura, Ahir Mohalla, Mahavirpura, Matamohalla, Kolipura, Barhaipura, Balmiki Mohalla, Shramadan Road, Patra Dhobi Ghat, Rassipura, and surrounding localities.
  • Neeraj Nagar and Priyadarshini Plaza: Priyadarshini Plaza, Gurukulam, Neeraj Nagar, Krishna Colony, Narendra Nagar, Shivbavala area, and neighbouring sectors.
