Delhi Crime News: A group of miscreants in Delhi allegedly tried to grab and pull a Northeastern woman in their Mercedes car at a five-star hotel in Chanakyapuri. In her complaint, the victim stated that they also attacked her male friends with hockey sticks and iron rods, leading to injuries. She further stated that the police refused to register an FIR initially despite multiple requests.

'Friend Attack With Iron Rods'

While providing details, she stated that a group of unknown men tried to grab her and friends and pull them into their car. She further stated that they attacked her male friend with a hockey stick and iron rod when he tried to intervene. The brutal attack left her male friend severely injured, leading to panic among their group.

"We were coming out of the washroom when three unknown men tried to grab us and pull us into their car. When our doctor friends intervened, the men attacked him with a hockey stick and an iron rod, leaving him injured," the woman was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.

'Police Refused To Register FIR'

She further stated that the miscreants had removed the car's number plate, claiming that police refused to register an FIR initially. "They had removed their car's number plate. We called the police, but the men remained in their car and tried to drive towards us. We were taken to the police station, but despite repeatedly requesting action, the police did not initially register an FIR or record our complaint," the victim claimed.

"We were five people, and they were three people. I am from Nagaland and have been living in Delhi for many years. I want the truth to come out and want them to be arrested, because this is an attempt to murder and kidnapping," she added.

The officials stated that a case was registered based on her complaint and medical report, adding that the CCTV footages have been examined to trace the goons.
