LPG Aadhaar e-KYC Deadline: The deadline for LPG consumers to complete their Aadhaar-based biometric e-KYC is today, September 14. Customers of Indane, Bharat Gas, and HP Gas are required to complete this verification process to ensure their connection remains fully compliant.

This comes after the government extended the deadline for the fifth time in less than two months, pushing the deadline from September 7 to September 14, according to a report by GoodsReturns.

Is LPG Aadhaar e-KYC Mandatory?

Completing the Aadhaar-based biometric e-KYC is mandatory for all LPG consumers. However, official sources have not confirmed that missing the deadline will lead to permanent cancellation of the connection. Additionally, reports suggesting that non-compliant users will automatically have to pay commercial rates remain unverified. Unverified accounts may, however, experience temporary service disruptions or restrictions until e-KYC is completed, the report added.

How To Complete LPG e-KYC Online And Offline: A Step-By-Step Guide

Consumers can complete the verification either through the official digital platform/mobile application of their respective gas provider or by visiting their local LPG distributor.

For offline verification, a physical e-KYC form must be submitted with personal and LPG connection details, including:

  • Personal Details: Full name (first, middle, last), date of birth, parent's name, consumer number, and a recent passport-size photograph.
  • Address And Contact Info: House/flat number, street, landmark, city, district, state, PIN code, mobile number, and email address.

Customers who have not completed the verification should contact their local distributor or visit their provider's official platform immediately.
