CJP Protests: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leaders on Sunday held a press conference in New Delhi after being released from police detention. Evidence May Be Planted On Our Phones: Saurav Das

CJP chief Spokesperson Saurav Das alleged that police seized their phones without providing a seizure memo. He suspected that their phones were hacked or cloned.

"They seized our phones but did not provide a seizure memo. We suspect they hacked or cloned our phones. Just as has happened to other activists over the years, we fear they may have hacked into our devices to plant documents or other material to be presented later as evidence. We want to state here that our phones have likely been compromised," he claimed.

What Das Said On Court Conditions Over Release Of CJP Leadres

Clarifying that the CJP protests will continue even after the court conditions, Das said protests will happen not just in Delhi but the whole country. Here Are The Highlights Of The Presser:

- Das alleged that the government had turned the state against its own citizens and said the authorities could have invited a delegation for talks instead of restricting protesters seeking to demonstrate at a designated site.

- "They are detaining student leaders and protesters and beating them. If they think this will break our spirit, they are mistaken. The fight will continue until every single one of our demands is met," said CJP leader Ashutosh Ranka.

- CJP National Spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka appreciated the participation of four former chief ministers -  Arvind Kejriwal, Mamata Banerjee, Manik Sarkar, and Pinarayi Vijayan - in the anti-CEC protests on Saturday. "We sincerely appreciate the way four former CMs took to the streets yesterday. We are deeply grateful for the battle they waged alongside the country's students and youth to safeguard our democracy, and we hope that all such organisations and political parties will continue to fight this battle together in the future," he added.

- The protests are still ongoing, Ranka said, adding that even today, several colleagues from CJP have been detained and subjected to physical assault.

What exactly does Gyanesh Kumar know about those in power that the government seems willing to wage war against its own citizens to protect him? das

- "Abhijeet Dipke’s grandmother passed away yesterday while he was in illegal detention. He told the Delhi Police that his parents are heart patients and asked to speak to them. But the cruel Delhi Police refused to let him talk to his own family," said Ranka.
