Telangana Student Murder: A death case linked to a 20-year-old engineering student from Telangana, which appeared to be a suicide case, has seen a big twist. The deceased consumed pesticide and left a suicide note for her family, prompting police to take it as an open-and-shut suicide case.
According to police, the woman, identified as Thandra Akshitarani, was rushed to a hospital where she died during treatment.
What Turned The Case From Suicide To A Cold-blood Murder
According to police, the sequence of events, technical footprints, CCTV footage and call details of the deceased changed the angle of the case. The police said the woman was in a relationship with Naveen Kumar, an outsourced lecturer at the Singareni Collieries Polytechnic in Naspur. The two met when she was pursuing her diploma, HT reported. Their relationship started facing trouble after she shifted to Hyderabad for further study.
In Hyderabad, she met Ravi Kumar, an overman, during an apprenticeship at a Singareni mine. Naveen was not comfortable with the friendship between Ravi and Akshitarani. He was angered seeing Akshitarani close to Ravi.
Peddapalli Deputy Commissioner of Police B Ram Reddy said Naveen developed a grudge against them. Police said Naveen stopped Akshitarani near the FCI crossroads while she was returning home. He convinced her to sit inside his car on September 12. He forced her to write a note blaming Ravi for alleged sexual assault. He also compelled her to blame Ravi for forcing her to consume pesticide.

Police accused Ravi of delaying Akshitarani's treatment at the Godavarikhani government hospital. In an attempt to mislead her family, he called them from Akshitarani's phone.
Ravi And Naveen Arrested
After putting pieces of evidences to reconstruct the sequence of events, police arrested both Naveen and Ravi on September 20.
