Waste To Wonder Theme Park Patna: Patna Waste to Wonder Theme Park: Ahead Bihar Assembly election, the capital city, Patna, got one after another big infra project, including a new terminal for the Jay Prakash Narayan Airport. On Wednesday, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar laid the foundation stone for Deshratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad's Bihar Gaurav Udyan, a themed park to be developed near Bans Ghat on the banks of the Ganga River in Patna.
Why Is Deshratna Dr Rajendra Prasad's Bihar Gaurav Udyan project crucial?
The project is the second such initiative that aims to add facilities for the entertainment of the people of the city on the Ganga's riverfront area in the city. The Marine Drive, also known as JP Ganga Path, on the bank of the Ganga, has already emerged as a hotspot for people. Now, the theme park will add another feather to the city's cap. This would be the first 'Waste To Wonder' theme park in Patna.
Features And Location Of 'Waste To Wonder' Theme Park
According to the government, The Waste To Wonder theme park will be constructed on 10 acres of land. The park will be inspired by the concept of 'Waste to Wonder', where installations will be crafted using industrial scrap and junk, offering a unique aesthetic and environmental appeal.
Where Will The Theme Park Be Built?
The government has planned to build the part between the Samadhi Sthal of Deshratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad and the JP Ganga Path, Bans Ghat, near iconic Gandhi Maidan, the park aims to become a major tourist and heritage attraction. The chief minister emphasised that the area, flanked by two iconic landmarks, makes it a prime site for meaningful urban beautification.
On Tuesday, the Chief Minister visited the site for inspection. Officials gave a presentation, showcasing video clips and designs to explain the layout and structure of the park.CM Nitish issued specific guidelines to ensure the project's execution is in line with his vision.
