Mann Ki Baat 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio broadcast ‘Mann Ki Baat’ resumed on Sunday (June 30) following a three-month break due to the recently concluded Lok Sabha Election 2024. In today’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’, PM Modi engaged with the citizens on a range of issues. During his address, the prime minister urged people to plant trees in the name of their mother under the campaign - 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam'.

The prime minister also thanked the country's citizens for reiterating their unwavering faith in the Constitution and democratic process in the recently concluded Lok Sabha polls.

This is prime minister's first radio programme following his re-election for the third consecutive term. The programme was last broadcast in February 2024 before the general elections. Today, the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio programme began at 11 am.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, the prime minister wrote, “Inviting you all to tune in to this month’s #MannKiBaat at 11 AM. Glad to be back on this medium, highlighting collective efforts for societal good.”

Earlier on June 18, the prime minister confirmed the programme's resumption and also invited the general public to share their ideas and feedback through various channels including the NaMo App, the MyGov Open Forum, or by recording messages on 1800-11-7800.

"Delighted to share that after a gap of some months due to the elections, #MannKiBaat is back! This month's programme will take place on Sunday, 30th June. I call upon all of you to share your ideas and inputs for the same," PM Modi announced earlier this week.

Notably, the last episode of PM Modi’s monthly radio programme was aired on February 25, after which it was paused due to the Lok Sabha elections. “Mann ki Baat will not be broadcast for the next three months in view of upcoming Lok Sabha polls,” PM Modi announced in the 110th edition of the programme.

Mann Ki Baat programme was first aired on October 3, 2014, and has become an important pillar of the government-citizen outreach programme. The prime minister addresses the nation every month with his radio talk.
