Summer Special Trains: In a bid to manage the anticipated surge in passenger demand during the summer holiday season, the Railways has announced to operate three pairs of unreserved special trains connecting Udhna in Gujarat to Danapur and Jaynagar in Bihar.
While these trains will not stop directly at Dhanbad station, they aim to offer a more efficient and convenient alternative for migrant workers and common passengers in the Dhanbad region. Passengers can easily access these special trains by connecting through Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya (DDU) Junction, according to Jagran.com.
Schedule Released
- As per the schedule released by the Indian Railways, the first train, 09007/09008 Udhna-Danapur Special, will depart from Udhna on April 26, arriving at DDU at 07:54 AM the following day.
- The second train, 09021/09022 Udhna-Danapur Special, is scheduled to run on the same route, reaching DDU at 8:54 PM on Monday.
- Additionally, the third train, 09003/09004 Udhna-Jaynagar Special, will run through key stations, including Patliputra, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, and Darbhanga.
Ranchi-LTT Express Gets A New Stoppage
In a major relief to pilgrims and local travellers, the Railways has approved a new halt for the 18609/18610 Ranchi-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Ranchi Express at Jharkhand's Parasnath station.
- As per the new schedule, the Ranchi-bound train (18609) will arrive at Parasnath at 12:37 AM on April 29, while the return service from Mumbai (18610) will arrive at 2:12 AM on May 1.
- The train is scheduled to stop for two minutes in both directions, providing greater convenience to pilgrims and local travellers.
