Twisha Sharma Death: Days after Twisha Sharma was found hanging on the terrace of her matrimonial home, her body was handed over to her family following a second post-mortem examination this morning.
Visuals showed the last rites of Twisha being performed at a crematorium in Bhopal. Earlier, Twisha's family urged the people of Bhopal to join her funeral procession.

Twisha Sharma's Family Demand For A Second Autopsy
Twisha's family had refused to receive her body until a second autopsy was conducted. About 12 days after her death on May 12, a team of doctors from AIIMS Delhi arrived in Bhopal last night and performed a second post-mortem today.
Speaking to news agency PTI, advocate Ankur Pandey, who was present with a technical team at AIIMS Bhopal, said that the autopsy was completed by 3:30 PM.
Twisha Sharma Death Case
Twisha Sharma, a resident of Noida, was found hanging on the terrace of her matrimonial home in Bhopal on May 12, barely five months after marrying Samarth Singh, a Bhopal resident whom she had met through a dating app in 2024.
Her parents alleged that Twisha was subjected to various forms of abuse by her husband and in-laws over dowry demands. Her husband, Samarth Singh, and mother-in-law, Giribala Singh, a retired judge, have been named as accused in the case.
However, Giribala Singh alleged that Twisha was a psychiatric patient and a drug addict who showed withdrawal symptoms. She further stated Twisha's family had disowned her after pushing her into the glamour industry.
After 10 days on the run, Samrath Singh was arrested in Jabalpur on Friday. He was subsequently taken into custody and brought to Bhopal. A court sent him to police custody for seven days on Saturday, May 23.
