Weather Forecast Today: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heatwave conditions in several states of India, including Jharkhand and parts of West Bengal, along with rainfall in several other states on Saturday.

Several areas, including Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan and Goa, Arunachal Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim, are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall on Saturday.

In Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan, and Goa, the light downpour is expected at isolated places, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning. Meanwhile, the winds are likely to gust at a strong speed of about 30-50 km per hour.

Apart from that, parts of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Karaikal, Puducherry, Kerala, and Mahe will receive rainfall on March 31 and April 1.

Similarly, in Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, which includes areas like Darjeeling, etc, are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning in isolated areas.

Rainfall in these areas is likely due to another trough that runs from Bihar to Northeast Assam.
