20-25 Jumbo prawns (deveined and cleaned)
For Marination:
1/2 Lemon
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Chilli powder
1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
For Gravy:
1/2 cup Curd
1/4 cup Cream
2 Onions, finely chopped

3 Tomatoes (pureed)
1 tbsp Chilli powder (Kashmiri chilli powder)
1 tsp Salt1 tsp Turmeric
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1 tbsp Garam masala powder
1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
1 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Tandoori masala (for colour) - optional

Easy Prawn Tikka Masala Recipe: How To Make Prawn Tikka Masala Recipe For Dinner
Step 1: Take a bowl and mix lemon juice, salt, chilli powder and ginger-garlic paste.
Step 2: Add the prawns to the mixture and marinate for 15-20 minutes.
Step 3: Heat butter in a kadai and add the marinated prawns to it and cook for about 4-5 minutes until soft. Keep aside in another bowl.
Step 4: In the same kadai, heat 2 tablespoons of oil and temper cumin seeds.
Step 5: When they sizzle, add chopped onions and saute for about 4-5 minutes until onions turn golden brown.

Step 6: Add ginger-garlic paste, chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and fry for one minute until the mix turns aromatic and the oil separates.
Step 7: Make a puree of the tomatoes using a blender and add to the kadai.
Step 8: Mix well and cook on a low flame for 3-4 minutes, until the mixture thickens.
Step 9: Add cream, curd and garam masala. Mix well, keep the flame on low.
Step 10: Add the cooked prawns, tandoori masala powder and salt to taste.
Step 11: Turn off the flame and serve with rice or freshly made butter naan.
