National Engineers Day 2023: What would the world be like without that technical knowledge and expertise in the hands of engineers? All the engineers in the country are celebrating National Engineers Day today, September 15, to honor their remarkable achievements and contributions. The occasion of National Engineers Day also marks the birth anniversary of one of the greatest engineers, Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya.

The celebration of the first National Engineers Day dates back to 1968. It was celebrated to recognise the efforts of engineers in society and appreciate them for their work and for making our lives advanced and better. The birth anniversary of Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya is also celebrated as National Engineers Day, the civil engineer who served as the 19th Dewan of Mysore from 1912 to 1918.
National Engineers Day 2023: Significance
The occasion of National Engineers Day plays a great role in acknowledging the efforts made by engineers in the country. The hardships that engineers face starting from their hardcore studies and bone-breaking jobs, a world without engineers is not possible. It is with their tireless efforts and great minds, that we are able to live in an advanced and upgraded society. It is a great occasion to express our gratitude towards engineers and let them know their value in our lives.
