Fruit Flies In Kitchen: With the onset of the monsoon season, people are enjoying the relief from the hot summer, with cities getting soaked in downpour and the smell of the wet earth is making them feel nostalgic while sipping a cup of steaming chai paired with pakodas. Although as much as they enjoy the weather and the good monsoon vibes, what becomes irritating is the unwelcome guests, that is, the fruit flies. These are tiny pests that usually thrive in the monsoon and humid season when the moisture in the air is combined with the abundance of ripe and leftover food. When these foods are left open and uncovered, fruit flies appear on them. These are also found near damp kitchen tops. Mostly, fruit flies appear almost overnight and though they are small and harmless, they carry bacteria which can result in food contamination.
