Lalbaugcha Raja is also known as Navsacha Ganpati which means the wish-fulfilling Lord Ganesha, which is why devotees throng from all over the world to seek darshans. The immersion of Lalbaugcha Raja is a day-long spiritual procession throughout Mumbai. Many worshipers join in, chanting, singing, and dancing with devotion next to the Ganpati Bappa idol.

The Lalbaugcha Raja Pandal Exit timings are anticipated to be around 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Lalbaugcha Raja 2025 Visarjan Rituals

The visarjan rituals for Lalbaugcha Raja, Mumbai’s most loved Ganpati idol is filled with heartfelt emotions. The large procession starts with the Maha Aarti organised by the Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav mandal with chants, music and drum beats. As the idol of Lalbaugcha Raja is taken out of the Pandal for immersion, people pray and seek blessings from Lord Ganesha. With tears, chants, and joy, they say goodbye, celebrating the divine presence that graced their lives during the Ganeshotsav.

After that, the procession is taken out through Mumbai's busy streets. It ends up at Girgaon Chowpatty for the final immersion. Thereafter, the Visarjan of Ganpati Bappa is performed with elaborate rituals which symbolise Lord Ganesha going back to Mount Kailash. The rituals end with the distribution of ‘visarjan prasad’. This brings the 11-day Ganeshotsav celebration to an end with blessings, thankfulness, and new faith among the devotees of Bappa.
