Paris Olympics 2024: India's star wrestler Aman Sehrawat won the bronze medal in wrestling as he defeated Puerto Rico's Darian Toi Cruz at the Paris Olympics 2024 on Friday.
Aman, who was the youngest male wrestler at the ongoing quadrennial event, lost in the semifinal against the top-seeded, Japan's Rei Higuchi earlier this week.

Aman grabbed headlines as he became the first Indian wrestler to have won a gold medal the the U-23 wrestling championships.

He attributes his success to two-time Olympic medalist Sushil Kumar, who is also his inspiration. He did lose his parents at a young age but then his grandfather Mangeram Sehrawat brought him up.
Aman usually trains at the Chhatrasaal stadium in Delhi, which has produced several Olympic medalists. Aman has won gold medals in multiple championships and has also proved why he is considered an upcoming talent in this sport.
