India skipper Rohit Sharma has secured a spot in the history books of cricket after his splendid century at Lord's during the third ODI against England. He became the first-ever Indian batsman to score a century in ODI matches at Lord's cricket ground.
India was chasing a huge target of 388 runs to win the match after England scored an amazing score of 387 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 50 overs. Sharma ensured India started the chase well with a good opening partnership with Shubman Gill, making things turn in their favor continuously.

His century marked another milestone in his outstanding career and also made him the first Indian cricketer to score an ODI century at the 'Home of Cricket,' something that has not been accomplished even by great players like Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Virat Kohli, and MS Dhoni.
