While Apple has kept things secretive till now, media reports regularly add smiles to the faces of Apple fans. In the latest move, 9To5Mac claims Apple could host its highly-anticipated event in the third week of next month.

According to sources cited in the report, mobile carriers have asked their workforce to be present on September 13 (Wednesday) because of a "major" phone announcement. While there is no mention of the iPhone 15 series or Apple, the tech giant hosts its annual smartphone launch event in September. The last year's event was also held on Wednesday (September 7), unlike Tuesday (a general trend) in the years before 2022. These coincidences are getting the Apple community excited.

Secondly, if these leaks materialise, the pre-orders could start from September 15 (Friday). Plus, it could arrive in stores on September 22. However, a user must note these are wild guesses and are not confirmed details. In a previous report, a reliable analyst claimed that the event could be postponed to October. But this was not vouched for by other tech analysts.

This time, all iPhone models could have a Dynamic Island, 48MP primary camera and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. The 'Pro' models could sport an A17 chip, and the vanilla and 'Plus' variant may have an A16 Bionic chip.
