JE Technology Desk: Cupertino-based tech giant Apple will likely bring the iPhone 15 series to India in September this year, which has got the rumour mill stirring details for a while. And as per the latest leaks, the 'Pro' models will likely have a new dark blue shade with a gray DNA this time, as per Unknownz21, a reliable source for Apple-related leaks.

According to MacRumors, the new titanium construction with the new colour will have a brushed finish design on the frame. The paint job will be similar to the iPhone 12 Pro phones, but with a darker dye and more gray inputs to adapt better to the overall design and looks.

Beyond blue, the company might bring a silver, black and gray paint finish to the 'Pro' series. While rumours are rife about the red colour for the upcoming 'Pro' models, tipster Unknownz21 (@URedditor) claims there are no traces of the colour in the industrial process. However, the Blue shade has appeared on prototype models, according to Macrumors and could get a final stamp of approval.

As for the design, the 'Pro' variants will look similar this year too, with slight adjustments to design like trimmed bezels, a multi-function button in place of the mute switch, and more. The 15 Pro Max will likely have a periscope lens and a titanium frame finish (on 15 Pro as well) with less shine to differentiate from the earlier models. A user must note that these details are not official and might differ from the actual model.

The report adds that the iPhone 15 models might debut in bright pink, green and bright blue. Besides the new paint job, the upcoming iPhone 15 series may have a USB Type-C port as an alternative to the Lighting port, Dynamic Island on all models and 48MP primary lens on non-Pros, among more upgrades. Considering these factors, the upcoming lineup will likely have a steeper price tag when compared head-to-head with the iPhone 14 series.
