Boat Smartwatches Launched in India: Boat has unveiled its latest smartwatches, the Ultima Prime and Ultima Ember, in India. Both models come with Bluetooth calling functionality and are equipped with built-in microphones and speakers. According to Boat, the Ultima Prime offers a battery life of up to five days, while the Ultima Ember can last up to an impressive 15 days on a single charge. These smartwatches are also rated IP68 for dust and water resistance, and they feature a functional crown for ease of use.
Priced at ₹2,199 each, both the Ultima Prime and Ultima Ember are now available for purchase in India via Boat’s official website, Amazon, Flipkart, and select retail outlets. Customers can choose from a variety of colors: Royal Berry, Rose Gold, Steel Black, and Silver Mist. Additionally, the Ultima Prime is available in Forest Green and Onyx Black, while the Ultima Ember comes in Bold Black.
In terms of displays, the Boat Ultima Prime features a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466x466 pixels, 700 nits of brightness, and an always-on display option. It also includes a "wake gesture" feature that lets users check the time or notifications with a simple wrist twist. On the other hand, the Ultima Ember boasts a larger 1.96-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 368x448 pixels and 800 nits of brightness.
Both smartwatches are equipped with Bluetooth calling and allow users to store up to 20 contacts in their dial pad. The customizable cloud-based watch faces are a nice touch, and each device comes with over 100 sports modes pre-installed. Health-tracking features include heart rate monitoring, SpO2 levels, sleep, stress, and menstrual cycle tracking.
Both watches are powered by a 300mAh battery. The Ultima Prime claims up to five days of usage, while the Ultima Ember can last up to 15 days, depending on usage. When Bluetooth calling is used, the battery life decreases to around three to five days.
