Dell is giving its commercial PC lineup a significant refresh, and this isn’t just a routine update. The company is rolling out a wide range of new devices across categories, including laptops, compact desktops, high-performance workstations, monitors, and accessories. The idea is simple: make business machines slimmer, more efficient, and ready for AI-driven workloads, while strengthening security and manageability for enterprises.
Alongside hardware upgrades, Dell is also pushing deeper into enterprise-grade protections. This includes quantum-resistant BIOS security, improved root-of-trust mechanisms, a standardised BIOS experience across devices, and cloud-based Intel vPro provisioning that makes remote deployment easier for IT teams.
Dell Pro notebooks and desktops availability
Dell has already confirmed that the Pro 14 Premium laptop and the Pro 5 Micro desktop will go on sale starting March 31. The rest of the notebook lineup, including the Pro 3, Pro 5, and Pro 7 series across multiple screen sizes and 2-in-1 options, is expected to arrive in May.
On the workstation side, the Precision 7 with integrated graphics will also be available from March 31. Other models, including Precision 5S, Precision 5 and 7 mobile workstations, and the Precision 9 desktop series, are scheduled for a May rollout.
Dell Pro notebooks: what’s changing this time?
Dell’s new Pro notebook lineup is clearly segmented. The Pro 3 series targets everyday office users, while the Pro 5 and Pro 7 models sit in the middle with more flexibility in configurations. At the top, the Pro Premium is aimed at users who want a thinner, more refined machine with better build materials.
Display options vary quite a bit. You get sizes ranging from 13-inch to 16-inch, with support for OLED panels on select models, brightness going up to 500 nits, and Gorilla Glass touchscreens on certain variants. The Pro Premium model even offers an optional Tandem OLED panel.
Performance is handled by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 and AMD Ryzen AI 400 processors, which means these machines are built to handle on-device AI tasks along with Copilot Plus PC features. Higher-end models give users the option to choose between Intel and AMD setups, while the Pro 3 series keeps things simpler for basic workloads.
Dell has also worked on design and thermals. The Pro Premium 14-inch model is slimmer than before and uses a magnesium alloy chassis. The Pro 7 series, available in 13-inch and 14-inch sizes, including 2-in-1 options, is noticeably thinner than the previous generation and features an aluminium build with more efficient keyboard backlighting. The Pro 5 series focuses on balancing performance and portability, while the Pro 3 lineup starts at just 1.3kg and includes Wi-Fi 7 and optional WWAN support.
Dell Pro 5 Micro desktop: compact but capable
For users who prefer desktops, the Pro 5 Micro is designed for tight workspaces. It’s compact enough to fit into minimal setups and supports USB Type C power delivery up to 100W. Interestingly, it can even be powered directly through compatible monitors, which helps reduce cable clutter significantly.
Dell is also positioning it as one of its first mainstream Copilot Plus desktops, with up to 50 TOPS NPU performance for AI workloads. It also supports high memory speeds of up to 7200 MT per second, which should help with smoother multitasking.
Precision workstations built for heavy workloads
The Precision lineup is where Dell is targeting professionals working with AI models, simulations, rendering, and CAD software. The Precision 5S stands out as a thin and lightweight mobile workstation, starting at around 1.4kg, and is available in both 14-inch and 16-inch options.
It can be configured with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors paired with Intel Arc Pro graphics or AMD Ryzen AI 400 chips with Radeon Pro graphics. It also supports up to 64GB of high-speed memory and comes with ISV certifications for professional applications.
For more demanding workloads, the Precision 5 and 7 mobile workstations step things up with NVIDIA RTX Pro Blackwell GPUs. On the desktop side, the Precision 9 series is built for extreme performance, offering up to 15 PCIe slots and support for multiple high-power GPUs.
Dell Pro P monitors' features and pricing
Dell’s new Pro P series monitors are built around productivity and collaboration. The lineup includes 34-inch and 27-inch models, all featuring USB C hub functionality for cleaner desk setups.
The 34-inch variants include a conferencing-focused model with a Sony Starvis 5-megapixel HDR camera, AI auto framing, dual microphones with noise cancellation, a privacy shutter, and Windows Hello support. These monitors are also certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom. Another 34-inch model offers similar display capabilities but skips built-in speakers and microphones.
The 27-inch option comes with an FHD IPS panel, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and support for daisy chaining up to four displays, which is useful for multi-monitor setups. All models are TÜV Rheinland certified for eye comfort and support silent firmware updates that run in the background.
The 34-inch USB-C Conferencing Monitor is priced at $779.99, while the 34-inch USB-C Webcam Monitor comes in slightly lower at $729.99. There’s also a more accessible option, the 27-inch USB-C Hub Monitor, priced at $379.99.
Accessories with a focus on efficiency
Dell is also updating its accessories lineup with a mix of practicality and innovation. The Pro 5 wired fingerprint mouse supports secure sign-in through Windows Hello. The Pro 7 slim keyboard and mouse are designed for quieter usage and long battery life.
One of the more interesting additions is the rechargeable compact keyboard and mouse set that uses supercapacitor technology. A quick five-second charge can deliver a full day of use, while a full charge in under five minutes can last for weeks or even months depending on usage. The mouse is also claimed to be among the lightest in its category without relying on lithium-ion batteries.
The Dell Pro 7 Slim Keyboard and Mouse combo is priced at $89.99, while the Pro 7 Silent Mouse costs $39.99. The Pro 5 Wired Fingerprint ESS Mouse, which supports secure sign-in via Windows Hello, is priced at $44.99.
Availability
Some of the monitors are already available globally, including the 34-inch USB C conferencing and webcam models, along with the 27-inch hub monitor. Accessories will roll out starting April, while the broader PC lineup will be available between late March and May, depending on the model.
