Pixel 7a To Android 14, What To Expect From Google I/O Event; Full Details

GOOGLE I/O 2023 is finally happening this year on May 10 at 10 AM PT. As we enter the age of AI innovations, we expect the company to announce a series of new artificial intelligence-laden tools and new gadgets. While the brand has confirmed the launch of Pixel Fold and Pixel 7a, most of the products and service announcements remain undercover.

Though Google has not officially teased the entire announcement template, media reports and rumour mills have been on their toes to bring details about the upcoming launches. We expect the search giant to unveil a series of software and hardware products including the Pixel Fold, Pixel 7a, Pixel Tablet, Android 14 and more. Here are the product announcements we expect Google to announce at the event.

Google Pixel 7a

The Pixel 7a will debut in India on May 11 on Flipkart. It will likely have a design inspired by the Pixel 7 series. It could be placed in the sub-Rs 45,000 price segment.

Google Pixel Fold

After deep scrutiny by leaks, the search giant finally announced that we would get to see the Pixel Fold, Google's first foldable phone in Google I/O 2023. The handset might start from $1,799, which roughly turns out to be Rs 1,47,000 after price conversion, reports suggest.

Google Pixel Tablet

Finally, the tech giant could consider debuting the Pixel Tablet at the event. While scant details about the specs are live for now, it was spotted by 9To5Google at Milan Design Week 2023.

Android 14

The tech giant is currently testing the beta build of Android 14. It is among the top software announcements we look up to. Like its previous iterations, Android 14 will bring cosmetic changes, performance upgrades, security and privacy enhancements and more.

Upgrades to Bard and Google Assistant

Lastly, we can expect Bard to get incremental upgrades from its previous training models at the Google I/O event. Further, as Microsoft is edging ahead in the AI war, Google might consider infusing AI capabilities into Google Assistant.
