GTA 6 Pre-orders Today: This is a big moment for all those fans who have been waiting now for more than a decade to get their hands on Rockstar's latest title, GTA VI/6, as the studio has just opened the pre-orders for its latest title, which is the most anticipated and waited-for title in the gaming universe globally. GTA VI/6 pre-orders are now live in India as well as global markets as of now on June 25, 2026.
The highly anticipated title is bound to go on sale on November 19, 2026, for consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X, and Rockstar Games has confirmed that the title went live for pre-order at midnight on June 25, and in India gamers can grab their version of the copy on dedicated PlayStation and Xbox stores as well as from select physical retailers.
GTA 6 Pre-Order Price, Editions and What's Inside
For now GTA VI/6 has come out with just two editions, in which the Standard Edition will cost you Rs 5,999, and the same in the US is $79.99, and the higher Ultimate Edition will cost you Rs 7,499, and in the US its pricing is $99.99. An interesting thing here is that GTA 6's standard edition price has crossed the benchmark and industry standard for AAA games, which stands at $70.
But why pay extra for the Ultimate Edition? This is a valid question, and for that reason the Ultimate Edition comes packed with extra exclusive content like vehicles, weapons, and outfits. Apart from that, it will also sport extra content related to Jason's and Lucia's storylines and new items getting unlocked after each chapter of the game.
Additionally, Rockstar also has a surprise for people buying any edition of this game before November 20, and that is a Vintage Vice City Pack, which will give gamers access to a collection of 80s-themed retro in-game merch, and tagged along will be a month of GTA+ subscription, which can be instantly redeemed. Apart from that, a digital pre-order will also give the opportunity to pre-load the game from 12 November itself, which is a week before the launch.
Interestingly, physical copies will not have a disc but just a digital download code, which will also support pre-loading from November 12.
Is the PS5 the best place to play GTA 6?
Even though the title is available on both PS5 and Xbox, Sony is of the opinion the PlayStation 5 might be the best place to play the game. Why? Sony says that the title will take full advantage of PlayStation 5's ultra-high-speed SSD to give almost instant loading times, meaning players will virtually feel no lag while moving in and out of Vice City and the State of Leonida.
Another thing to note is that Sony says that the game will also utilise the PS5 controller's built-in speaker to highlight key moments taking place in the game.
What About PC Gamers?
As usual, PC gamers will have to wait for a bit longer, and the date for its release has not been announced yet, either. Going by convention, the game would usually arrive 12 to 18 months after the console launch has taken place. Although nothing is officially confirmed as of now.
For now the game will come out as a single-player title, and the multiplayer online version will follow after the release on a separate date.
Is It the Cheapest in India?
While the $79.99 and $99.99 pricing is quite hefty when it comes to a triple-A title, the game is significantly cheaper in India due to country-specific pricing. In India the game is priced at Rs 5,999 for the standard edition, which translates to $71, and the Ultimate Edition, which costs Rs 7,499, roughly translates to $89. This price translation makes it significantly cheaper in the country.
