Honor, a Chinese smartphone maker, recently announced the Honor 200 series in India. The company is now gearing up to launch its flagship Honor Magic 6 Pro in the country. The smartphone will be launched in India on August 2, 12:30 PM, confirms an Amazon poster and microsite. The company advertises gold labels from DXOMARK in segments like selfie, audio, camera, battery and display for the Magic 6 Pro.
As for the design, the flagship smartphone will sport a dome-shaped lens on the rear. It will arrive with a curved screen. The smartphone will be the company's first flagship handset after its comeback in India. The company has also confirmed a few specifications of the smartphone.
Honor Magic 6 Pro Specifications
The smartphone will sport a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED 120Hz screen with 5,000nits HDR peak brightness and Dolby Vision support. Under the hood, the Magic 6 Pro will run on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and boot on MagicOS 8.0 (likely on Android 14). The phone gets an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
As for the optics, the smartphone boasts a 50MP OIS + 50MP ultrawide + 180MP periscope sensor on the rear and a 50MP selfie shooter. As for other features, it will offer Honor AI Motion Sensing Capture. It will sport a 5,600mAh battery with 80W wired and 66W wireless charging support. It will be available in an Epic Green and Black colour.
As for the expected specifications, the smartphone will likely offer Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC and a USB Type-C port for charging. Meanwhile, the company recently introduced the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro in India. While the Honor 200 starts from Rs 34,999, the Honor 200 Pro is available at Rs 57,999.
