Apple, a Cupertino-based tech giant, announced the iPhone 15 in India last year. The smartphone is now selling at a massive discount on Flipkart after offers and a significant price drop. If you plan to buy an Apple device, this can arguably be the lowest price for the latest iPhone. Here are all the details you should know if you are interested in the deal.
iPhone 15 Price
Apple iPhone 15 is available at a starting price of Rs 65,999 (128GB) on Flipkart. The 256GB and 512GB trims cost Rs 75,999 and Rs 95,999. It is listed in five shades: Black, Blue, Green, Pink and Yellow. However, the colour availability may vary depending on the storage variant. As for offers, you can get Rs 1,000 off via select bank debit card non-EMI, UPI or select bank net banking transaction.
Buyers can get five per cent cashback via Flipkart Axis Bank Card. As for other offers, Rs 2,000 off via combo offer and up to Rs 57,450 off via exchange is also available. Now the question pops up - considering the iPhone 16 series launch is rumoured for September 2024, should you buy the iPhone 15?
Apple iPhone 15: Should You Buy Right Now?
In short - If money is not a constraint, you should wait for the iPhone 16 series. The base model is expected to start around Rs 80,000 and will likely bring Apple Intelligence features. It may also offer a vertical camera module, a Capture button, and improvements in display, performance, camera and other departments.
Secondly, if you are on a restricted budget of sub-Rs 65,000, you can choose the iPhone 15. It offers a Super Retina XDR OLED screen with Dynamic Island, A16 Bionic chipset, iOS 17, 48MP + 12MP rear and a 12MP front camera. Meanwhile, if you can delay the purchase to September, you can wait for the price drop on the iPhone 15, which is expected after the launch of the iPhone 16 series.
