iQOO, a popular performance smartphone maker which has established a significant market all over the world is reportedly all set to introduce its next flagship smartphone dubbed ‘iQOO 12’ in the coming months. The iQOO 12 will be a successor to iQOO 11 and iQOO 11 Pro, which has already gained a lot of popularity, especially in the Indian market.

In a new update, the smartphone’s specifications have been leaked ahead of its official announcement by the rumour mill, and it is said to get massive upgrades over in 11. Here is what we expect from the smartphone.

iQOO 12 Launch Date In India: (Expected)

As per he latest reports, the iQOO 12 launch date is tipped on December 12. However, the company has not announced the release date as of now. 

iQOO 12 Specifications: (Expected) 

The upcoming iQOO 12 is said to get a Samsung E7 AMOLED display with a refresh rate panel of 144 Hz and HDR10+ support. Under the hood, the iQOO 12 is expected to get the under-development Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 flagship processor, which will be one step faster than the previous generation flagships. It is said to come paired with 24GB RAM and up to 1TB storage space and will run on Android 14-based skin. The smartphone is likely to be backed by a massive 5,000 mAh battery with an unspecified fast charging support.

In terms of optics, the smartphone is said to get a triple camera setup with a 50MP OV50H primary shooter, 50MP ISOCELL JN1 wide-angle camera and a 64MP OV64GB telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom along with optical image stabilisation support. It is interesting to note that it would be able to click enhanced zoom pictures.

The series is expected to get two different variants and is said to be unveiled later this year. It is said that the smartphone will first launch in China and after that the global markets.

iQOO 12 Price, Release Date: (Expected)

The smartphone will see a price hike if compared to the previous generation iQOO 11 and will be released later this year in the Indian market. As per the reports, the smartphone will be introduced in a Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000 bracket.
