iQOO Vs CMF Phone 2 Pro: If you're shopping for a smartphone under ₹20,000 in India, you’ve probably noticed the growing buzz around two new contenders: the freshly launched iQOO Z10R and the sleek CMF Phone 2 Pro. Both phones offer impressive specs for the price, making the choice between them far from straightforward. So, how do they compare on paper? Let’s break it down.

Performance: Dimensity Powerhouse Face-Off

The iQOO Z10R, unveiled on July 24, is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400, a 4 nm chip that goes head-to-head with the Dimensity 7300 Pro found in the CMF Phone 2 Pro. Both processors are octa-core and pack the same GPU, ensuring similar graphical performance.

When it comes to RAM, both models start at 8GB, but iQOO offers a step up with a 12GB variant, while CMF caps out at 8GB. On the battery front, iQOO wins again with a 5700 mAh battery and 44W fast charging, compared to CMF’s 5000 mAh battery with 33W charging.

Camera: More Lenses vs. Bigger Selfies

The CMF Phone 2 Pro takes the lead in versatility with its triple-camera setup—a 50MP main lens, a 50MP 2x telephoto, and an 8MP ultra-wide. On the other hand, the iQOO Z10R keeps things simpler with a 50MP primary lens and a 2MP depth sensor.

Both devices record 4K at 30 fps and 1080p up to 60 fps, but CMF has an edge with 120 fps shooting. Selfie lovers might prefer the iQOO, which sports a 32MP front camera capable of 4K video, while CMF settles for a 16MP shooter limited to 1080p.

Software and User Experience

In the software department, CMF gains points with its Nothing OS 3.2, based on Android 15—known for its clean, minimal interface seen in higher-end devices like the Nothing Phone 3. The iQOO Z10R ships with Funtouch OS 15, also based on Android 15, which has come a long way in terms of user experience. Both phones include an in-display fingerprint sensor and support various AI features.

Pricing: Which One’s the Better Deal?

The CMF Phone 2 Pro is priced attractively, starting at ₹18,999 and going up to ₹20,999. The iQOO Z10R begins at ₹19,499 and reaches ₹23,499 for the top-end 12GB + 256GB variant. That said, with bank discounts, the iQOO Z10R can effectively be bought for ₹17,499, making it a serious bang-for-your-buck option.
