8000 mAh Battery Oppo And OnePlus: When you are out there hunting for a new smartphone, there are many things that you look out for like design, features and camera, but one thing that usually seals the deal or breaks it is the battery life. Our lifestyle these days circles around our smartphones and a good battery life sometimes becomes a necessity.
To cater to this exact necessity smartphone makers are coming out with devices that support a good battery life and we have seen smartphones with 6000 mAh battery storage as well, but this time OnePlus and Oppo are going a step further and preparing something that is indeed massive. Both smartphone makers are currently working towards launching devices with 8000 mAh battery support, yes you heard that right. The testing for these devices has already begun and they will be supporting 80W fast charging as well.
What Has Been Revealed?
Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station recently shared in a post that Omega Labs is developing new battery technology. Reports suggest that the lab is collaborating with Oppo and OnePlus, leading to speculation that this technology could be linked to the two companies. Currently, the lab is working on an 8000mAh phone battery.
What Can We Expect From an 8000 mAh Battery?
- Firstly there is obviously the amped-up power backup, something that we have never experienced before
- Secondly, the 80W fast charging support, this is definitely going to be a game changer as now you will be getting a beefed-up battery that can also charge very fast so it's a win-win.
- Third, Oppo and OnePlus have incorporated 15 percent high-silicon material into this new battery, enhancing its efficiency and durability.
Deets on OnePlus' Upcoming Smartphone And Battery
OnePlus is set to launch its compact OnePlus 13 Mini soon, which is expected to feature a 6000mAh battery. Additionally, the company may offer smartphones with batteries ranging from 6,000mAh to 7,000mAh in the second half of this year.
If both smartphone makers are able to successfully develop this tec it will be nothing short of a revolution. One thing to keep in mind is the size that will increase if the size of the battery increases and this can be a problem for most users as we are moving towards more sleek and compact styles these days.
But all said we still need to wait for the final result to make any judgments yet, with the rampant development in tech and smartphones getting even more sophisticated with time with advanced features like AI, a larger battery life could just save the day. So stay tuned as we trace these developments and bring them to you.
