MWC 2024: After the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024, the tech world is gearing up for the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024. Days before the event commences in Barcelona, a report has tipped an innovative tech that could see the light of day at the event. Lenovo is reportedly gearing up to introduce a transparent laptop at the MWC 2024, according to Windows Report.

The Chinese laptop maker could showcase the concept of its transparent portable machine at the event. According to the screengrab shared in the report, the laptop may have a bezel-less design with a display sporting complete see-through. The deck could also have some level of transparency with the main components inside the chassis below. The frame will likely remain non-transparent and could sport the essential ports.

The report noted that this laptop may run on Windows 11. A similar Lenovo design statement is visible on the model. If the product enters mass production, it might debut under the 'Thinkbook' catalogue. The laptop will likely have a full-size keyboard with a numpad. An indent for the trackpad is missing on the device, which may hint that Lenovo could be preparing something different compared to traditional laptops.

Apart from the transparent model, the company may introduce the ThinkBook 14 G4, ThinkPad T14 Gen 5, ThinkPad T14S Gen 5, ThinkPad T16 Gen 3, ThinkPad x12 Detachable Gen 2 and ThinkVision M14T Gen 2 at the event this month. For the unaware, MWC 2024 will held between February 26-February 29.

Speaking of other updates around MWC 2024, Nothing could introduce the Nothing Phone (2a) at the event. The phone could sit below the Nothing Phone (2) in terms of the price and specifications hierarchy and cater to the midrange segment of under Rs 30,000 users. Plus, Xiaomi is gearing up to showcase its flagship Xiaomi 14 series at the mega tech show.
