Motorola has expanded its tablet lineup in India with the launch of the Moto Pad 70 Pro, its latest premium Android tablet. Succeeding last year's Moto Pad 60 Pro, the new model brings Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, a large 13-inch high-resolution display, Android 16 out of the box and support for the bundled Moto Pen Pro. It also packs a sizeable battery with fast charging and promises multiple years of software support.

Moto Pad 70 Pro Price in India and Sale Details

The Moto Pad 70 Pro starts at Rs. 36,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the 256GB storage model is priced at Rs. 39,999.

Motorola is also offering the tablet with its Snap-on Keyboard for Rs. 45,999. Customers who wish to buy the keyboard separately will have to pay Rs. 5,999. Buyers using eligible ICICI Bank cards can additionally avail an instant discount of Rs. 4,000.

The tablet will go on sale in India from July 4 through Flipkart and Motorola's online store. It is available in a single Pantone-curated Titan finish.

Moto Pad 70 Pro Specifications and Features

The Moto Pad 70 Pro ships with Android 16-based Hello UI and is promised to receive Android version upgrades up to Android 18, along with four years of security updates.

On the front is a 13-inch 3.5K LCD display with a resolution of 3,504 × 2,190 pixels. The panel supports a 144Hz refresh rate, reaches up to 800 nits of peak brightness and carries Dolby Vision support. Motorola is also bundling the Moto Pen Pro stylus with the tablet, allowing users to sketch, write and take notes right out of the box.

Powering the tablet is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Those who require more space have the option to expand the storage by up to 2TB using a microSD card. Motorola also highlights the presence of an advanced NPU to handle AI-powered workloads.

For taking those pictures and getting on video calls, the Moto Pad 70 Pro comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, while an 8-megapixel front-facing camera takes care of selfies and virtual meetings.

The tablet is also aimed at multimedia users with a quad-speaker setup tuned by JBL and enhanced with Dolby Atmos. A dual-microphone system is included for clearer voice capture during calls and recordings.

Keeping everything running is a 10,200mAh battery that supports 45W wired fast charging. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port.

The Moto Pad 70 Pro also includes an RGB sensor, gyroscope, accelerometer and hall sensor. It measures 296.48 × 191.91 × 6.20mm and weighs approximately 589g.
