Vivo has officially dropped the Vivo X Fold 6 in China during the June 2026 launch event, with that the company is expanding its lineup of premium foldable smartphones. The latest book-style foldable arrives with a refreshed circular rear camera design, upgraded hardware and one of the biggest batteries seen on a foldable phone so far.

The Vivo X Fold 6 features an 8.02-inch foldable AMOLED display built using Samsung's M14 luminescent material, while the outer cover screen measures 6.51 inches. Both displays support a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR content, a 300Hz touch sampling rate, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut and can display up to 1.07 billion colours. Vivo has also equipped the handset with IP58 and IP59 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Under the hood, the foldable is powered by the new 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super processor. The chipset features four efficiency cores running at 2.7GHz, three performance cores clocked at 3.5GHz and a prime core capable of reaching 4.21GHz. Graphics are handled by the ARM Mali G1-Ultra GPU. The phone comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. For security, it includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with face unlock.
Photography is another major highlight of the Vivo X Fold 6. It houses a Zeiss-branded triple rear camera system led by a 200-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation. The setup also includes a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera that supports up to 100x digital zoom. Selfies and video calls are handled by two 20-megapixel cameras, one embedded in the foldable display and another on the cover screen. The device also supports recording videos in up to 8K resolution.
Keeping the phone running is a large 7,000mAh battery, paired with 80W wired and 40W wireless fast charging support.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS and NavIC. The handset also packs several onboard sensors, including an ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope, gravity sensor, e-compass and an IR blaster.
The Vivo X Fold 6 runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6 Fold out of the box. It measures 157.16 x 145.66 x 4.40mm when unfolded and 157.16 x 74.26 x 9.40mm when folded, while weighing approximately 228g.
Vivo X Fold 6 Price And Availability
The Vivo X Fold 6 starts at CNY 7,999 (roughly Rs. 1,11,000) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 512GB models are priced at CNY 8,999 (around Rs. 1,25,000) and CNY 9,999 (roughly Rs. 1,39,000), respectively. The 16GB + 1TB version costs CNY 10,999 (around Rs. 1,53,000), while Vivo has also introduced a Black Gold Edition priced at CNY 11,299 (roughly Rs. 1,57,000).
The foldable will go on sale in China from July 1 through Vivo's online store. Buyers can choose from Blue Hole, Polar Night and Salt Lake colour options.
