Motorola is gearing up to unveil an addition to its Edge collection—the Motorola Edge 70—that has been scheduled to premiere worldwide on November 5. This was indicated by Motorola’s official Poland site, showcasing a first glimpse at what might be the company’s thinnest and most stylish smartphone so far.
A New Era of Design
Reportedly, the future Motorola Edge 70 will still be the thinnest member of the family with only 6 mm of thickness, thus being 1.9 mm thinner than the Edge 60 or the last generation had its 7.9 mm frame. Here, Motorola is seen to be heavily banking on the merge of good looks and easy carrying, thus presenting stylish designs that fit to practical performance.

While the battery of 4,800mAh along with the 68W fast charging is expected to be the pack power, the slight downgrade from the Edge 60’s 5,200mAh unit seems to be a trade-off for achieving the ultra-slim design.
Performance and Features
It is speculated that the Motorola Edge 70 will have 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, which would be high enough for the phone to perform multiple tasks smoothly and for users to save as many files as they want.
Moreover, the phone's audio quality will also improve as the stereo speakers which are supported by Dolby Atmos will provide an immersive sound experience. On the camera side, Motorola is expected to bring a 50MP primary camera with OIS along with a supporting wide angle sensor with 120-degree FOV for photos that are wider and richer in detail, be it nature or crowd.
Design and Colours
The Edge 70 is expected to be the third product to come out of Motorola’s partnership with Pantone and it will reportedly run in three classy shades: Bronze Green, Gadget Grey & Lily Pad. The release of these colors may have everything to do with the company's commitment to top-notch manufacture and visual attraction.
Expected Price and Availability
Although the official price is unknown, leaked information points out the price of the Motorola Edge 70 could range from EUR 709 and EUR 801.91 (Rs 73,000–Rs 82,700, approximately). The company has the tendency to price its Edge series competitively in India and so with this history, it can be assumed that the phone will be launched in the sub-Rs 30,000 segment for the Indian market.
Motorola Edge 70 is a perfect example of how a next model with a gorgeous body, generous storage, and seamless user interaction can be a big step back in time to present day’s ultrathin smartphones.
