iQOO is about to launch its next flagship phone of a whole new generation, i.e., iQOO 15, with the brand already revealing some of its main features experimentally before the formal announcement. China will be the first place to see the phone later this month, and then the Indian location is expected to have a date for the arrival of the device sometime between 15 and 25 November 2025. Even the date of the event has not been confirmed yet, but a global distribution is underway.
Flagship Power with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5
According to the rumours, the iQOO 15 will come fitted with the ultra-modern Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor by Qualcomm, which is supposed to cater to all kinds of software needs, be it games or multitasking. Part of the hardware will be a very large capacity 7,000mAh battery, which will make it the biggest in its class and will support both quick wired and wireless charging.
A 6.85-inch QHD AMOLED panel with a 144 Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 2,600 nits is going to be the display of the iQOO 15; thus, the beautiful view and accurate colours will be ensured. The display will be equipped with an improved 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which will bring quicker and safer unlocking than before. Besides that, the iQOO 15 will also be able to achieve high levels of protection (IP68 and IP69), which means a good defence against dirt and water intrusion. This combo of features is usually for the most expensive flagship.
Design and Build
The first glimpse of the device announced that iQOO 15 will present a different look: one with a marble pattern and the other – "Lingyun" – which probably refers to the texture of the satin or metal. Besides, the phone's smooth edges made of metal and maybe decorated by the RGB light strip along the side will give it more brightness and uniqueness.
Camera and Performance
Camera lovers will get a very good dual rear camera system headed by a 50MP primary sensor of 1/1.5 inch plus a 50MP periscope telephoto lens for providing the zoom quality to be the best possible one optically. For the purpose of extreme usage and games, iQOO is preparing the phone to be equipped with an 8K vapour chamber cooling system, which is designed to keep performance at a level higher than the rest in longer sessions.
Expected Pricing
It is not the first time that iQOO is reluctant to announce the exact price for the phone, but rumours have it that the price of the iQOO 15 in India may be lower than ₹59,999. By way of comparison, the iQOO 13 was introduced at ₹54,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB variant, which means that the new one will come with better features at a more affordable price point.
