Samsung is all set to showcase its much-awaited Galaxy Ring for visitors at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. Sharing an update on Galaxy AI and products to watch out for at the tech showcase, Samsung shared the update on the smart ring in a newsroom post. Next to the finger accessory, the company will also present Galaxy AI capabilities on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy Book 4 series and Watch 6 series.

The South Korean gadgets maker first teased the arrival of the Galaxy Ring at the Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event. It will offer a more personalised and seamless AI-powered health monitoring experience. In a recent report, SamMobile reported that the accessory may launch in the second half of 2024. The news outlet cited Senior Executive Daniel Seung Lee's LinkedIn post (now deleted) to further its claim.

"Galaxy Ring is being unveiled as a new health form factor that simplifies everyday wellness, supporting smarter and healthier living via a more connected digital wellness platform — Samsung Health," Samsung said in its newsroom post. The company's booth will be located in Hall 3 of the Fira Barcelona Gran Via. The smart wearable could offer fitness tracking, stress management, sleep monitoring and more features.

Reports tip that the company could introduce the Galaxy Ring at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event next to the new Galaxy Z foldable phones. The use case next to the Galaxy Watch models is yet to be seen. Meanwhile, here is what the company said at the first Unpacked 2024 show:
