HMD Global, the company that makes Nokia phones, celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Nokia 3210's original release in India by relaunching the phone alongside YouTube. Scuba Blue, Grunge Black, and Y2K Gold are the three colours that the device comes in. It costs Rs 3,999.
The Nokia 3210 has a full suite of eight apps in addition to YouTube and YouTube Music. These apps include Tetris, 2048 Game, Cricket Score, Sokoban, Weather, and News. The phone has a 2MP camera, a flashlight, and the classic Snake game. The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI)-approved preloaded UPI application is another feature, according to the company.
"Nokia 3210 isn't just a phone; it's 2024's fun phone. The original Nokia 3210 holds a special place in many hearts as one of the best-selling mobile phones ever. Its strong heritage and iconic design make it the perfect product to reimagine for the modern era," Ravi Kunwar, VP, India & APAC, HMD, said in a statement.
The company also unveiled the Nokia 235 4G and Nokia 220 4G, two additional devices. The Nokia 235 4G boasts improved features and a sizable 2.8-inch IPS display. This device is offered in three colours: blue, black, and purple. It has a 2MP rear camera.
The redesigned Nokia 220 4G features a big 2.8-inch IPS display as well as pre-installed UPI apps that have been approved by the NPCI. The device is available in Peach and Black. The prices of the Nokia 235 4G and Nokia 220 4G are 3,749 and 3,249, respectively.
