Nothing Phone (2) Expected Price Leaked Ahead Of India Launch On Flipkart; Check Inside

JE Technology Desk: Nothing Phone (2) is turning out to be amongst the most hyped smartphone launches this year. Carl Pei, CEO of Nothing, has given hints about a transparent USB Type-C cable that might ship with the smartphone. And we already know that it will launch in India on July 11. In the last leaks about the product, the rumour mill has managed to leak the price of the upcoming smartphone.

Nothing Phone (2) Price Expectations

According to Dealabs Magazine, the price of the smartphone in France for the 256GB model will likely be 729 euros, and for the 512GB could be 849 euros. After currency conversion, the value comes to Rs 65,600 for the 256GB and Rs 76,400 for the 512GB model.

However, do note these are mere price conversions and not indicative of the expected price of the Phone (2) in India. Considering the smartphone market in India, we expect the price to be more competitive. It could have a starting price of Rs 45,000.

Nothing Phone (2) Expected Storage, Colours 

The report adds that it may come in two RAM variants: 8GB RAM for the 256GB variant and 12GB RAM for the 512GB model. It will likely come in two colour options - white and black. The price rise can be attributed to several upgrades the company has confirmed. Nothing Phone (2) will have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU and 4700mAh battery.

It will have a 6.7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Phone (2) may run on Nothing OS 2.0 based on Android 13. Leaks have hinted that the smartphone may have a 50MP primary lens and a 16MP front camera. We will have to wait to find out whether these leaks and rumoured prices materialise on July 11.

For comparison, the Nothing Phone (1) is offered in two storage trims: 128GB and 256GB, priced at Rs 29,499 and Rs 30,499 on Flipkart (at the time of filing). It debuted in India in July 2022.
