OnePlus will unveil their OnePlus 15 handset in China next week and has begun unveiling key specifications ahead of its official launch. After sharing information regarding display details and colour choices earlier, now OnePlus has revealed battery and charging capacities – and they are impressive.

Battery and Charging Upgrades

According to OnePlus' official Weibo post, the OnePlus 15 will feature a massive 7,300mAh battery – up from the 13's 6,000mAh unit – making it one of the largest batteries ever seen on a flagship phone and significantly bigger than the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra's 5,000mAh capacity.

Silicon-carbon battery technology may have enabled this increase, with greater energy density without increasing size or increasing cost. Users of such batteries could potentially enjoy two days' worth of use with just one charge.

As far as charging speeds go, the OnePlus 15 boasts 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging speeds – an upgrade over the 100W wired fast charging in its predecessor (OnePlus 13). Unfortunately, US market flagships often max out at 80W of wired fast charging. In addition, bypass charging will help to reduce heat during gaming or heavy usage.

Other Confirmed Specs

OnePlus 15 will feature an amazing 1.5K 165Hz display and be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset for optimal performance.
