JE Technology Desk: ChatGPT, the viral chatbot of OpenAI, has been among the favourite AI tools on the Internet since its launch last year. It can interact in diverse languages, which cements it as a preferred choice for a wide range of people. And while you might be interacting with the model in English, it also supports several Indian languages, that includes Hindi.

According to HT Tech, the model can interact in these Indian languages: Hindi, Marathi, Urdu, Telugu, Bengali, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Gujarati, Bhojpuri, Punjabi and more. With this out of the way, here's how you can command ChatGPT to answer in one of the above-stated languages.

How To Use ChatGPT in regional languages?

Step 1: Head to the official website of ChatGPT

Step 2: Click/tap on "Try ChatGPT"

Step 3: Log in or Sign up from an account (The language model is free for the public without any waitlist) 

Step 4: After you get access to ChatGPT, enter a query and ask the model to respond in a specific language

As a second option, you can enter your query in one of the above-stated languages, and the model will respond in the same language. Coming to international languages, it supports English, Russian, Chinese, French, German, Chinese, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, Italian, Japanese and Arabic.

In another update, OpenAI, in a release note for the ChatGPT app for iOS, stated: "Plus users can now use Browsing to get comprehensive answers and current insights on events and information that extend beyond the model's original training data." Users can enable browsing from the "New Features" section from settings, opt for "GPT-4," and choose "Browse with Bing" from the list.

Both tech giants have been on the run to supercharge their products with AI innovations to make their them mainstream in the dynamic artificial intelligence world.
