New Delhi | Jagran Tech Desk: After numerous teasers and leaks, Redmi 8 series was finally unveiled on Thursday. Redmi 8 launched Redmi 8 Pro and Redmi 8 Note in the series. Besides this, Xiaomi also unwrapped its branded TV and a new version of RedmiBook 14.
 
Redmi 8 series is an upgrade to its previous 7 series. Redmi Note 8 comes with a 6.3-inch screen while Redmi 8 Pro will possess 6.53-inch screen. Redmi Note 8 has a 48 MP primary camera while the latter has 64 MP primary camera setup. Other cameras in the above devices include 8 MP ultra-wide lens, 2 MP macro lens, 2 MP portrait camera.
 
Redmi Note 8 sales will begin on September 17 while Redmi Note 8 Pro pre-order sales will be held on September 3.
 
Redmi TV has a 70-inch screen with can be placed on a stand or mounted on the wall. It supports 4K HDR and Dolby Atoms audio. The television has three HDMI ports, two USB ports and Wifi. It will include 2GB RAM + 16 GB storage. You can easily connect it to a Xiaomi smart device. It is priced at 3799 (Rs 38,000 approx). TV sales will begin on September 10.
 
 
RedmiBook 14 has been launched with Intel core i7 10th-gen processor. It comes in pink and grey colour option. It includes 8 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. It will include 10 hours battery life. The device is priced at Rs 4999.
 
Redmi Note 8 base variant (4GB + 64GB) is priced at 999 yuan (Rs 10,000). High-end variant of 6GB + 128GB storage will cost Rs 1399 yuan (Rs 14,000).
 
Redmi Note 8 Pro's 6GB + 64GB storage variant is priced are Rs 14,000. Its high-end variant will cost (1799 yuan) Rs 18,000 [8GB + 128GB storage option]
