Samsung Galaxy A56 And Galaxy A36 Update: Only recently, Samsung announced that India will soon get to see the Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy M06 5G, with no confirmed dates for its launch. Now the tech giant is out with another teaser that hints towards an imminent launch of the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 smartphones. These new handsets are likely successors to Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35. In the teaser, a few design elements and OS details of the supposed smartphones were also revealed.
Samsung has teased the upcoming launch of the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 in a video on X. While the exact names of the devices haven't been confirmed, the recurring "Awesome" tagline hints that these could be successors to the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35.

The teaser reveals that the upcoming Samsung smartphones will offer six years of OS updates. The Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 are expected to run on Android 15 with One UI 7. Additionally, the video gives a glimpse of the devices' middle frame, showcasing the Key Island edge that holds the power button and volume rocker. More details about the handsets are expected to be revealed soon.
Leaks and rumours have suggested that the Samsung Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 might drop in March for India, and earlier support pages for the said phones were also spotted. We can expect an Exynos 1580 SoC for the Galaxy A56 while the A36 might sport a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC or a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor. Both are expected to come with 45W fast charging support.
For clicking pictures we can expect the Galaxy A56 to have a triple rear camera unit, including a combination of 50-MP primary sensor, a 12-MP sensor and a 5-MP sensor. For selfies, you can expect a 12-MP sensor. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A36 is expected to feature the same front and main camera setup, along with a 5-megapixel macro sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens.
