Samsung Galaxy M36 5G: Finally, after weeks of speculation, Samsung has finally unveiled the Galaxy M36 5G, its upcoming budget smartphone series in India. The phone will go on sale on June 27 and is already live on Amazon India. The Galaxy M36 5G is expected to be a Rs 20,000 price segment phone and will feature an Exynos 1380 chip and a triple camera setup at the back.
Familiar Yet Upgraded
The Galaxy M36 5G is rumoured to have some similarities with the Galaxy A36 5G that was released earlier this year. But Samsung appears to be introducing its own spin with upgraded AI features. The phone's teaser poster refers to it as the "Monster AIcon", pointing to the device being loaded with AI-based features.

AI Camera, Google Gemini, and More
One of the main points of note seems to be the integration of AI into the camera application. As per the initial reports, the device may come equipped with Google Gemini-powered AI tools, providing users with more intelligent photography and tailored suggestions.
Specs Listed and Anticipated Features
The Galaxy M36 5G recently appeared on Geekbench with the model number SM-355B. The listing confirmed 6GB of RAM and Android 15 topped with Samsung's One UI. The phone will presumably boast a 6.7-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, providing seamless visuals for day-to-day use.
Optically, it could have a 50 MP rear main sensor and a 12 MP selfie snapper for taking selfies and video calls. The smartphone is also anticipated to have a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 45 W fast charging. Interestingly enough, the Galaxy M35 also had a higher 6,000 mAh battery, and this might be a compromise for another upgrade.
