Samsung Galaxy S24 Series: South Korean smartphone maker Samsung will likely launch its Galaxy S24 series smartphones next year in January. The lineup may include three smartphones: Samsung Galaxy S24, Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. While rumours have tipped the launch date of the smartphones in the past, in the latest move, the pre-order and shipping dates of the smartphones have appeared online.

According to The Elec, the Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event is slated for January 17, 2024. The location tipped in the report is San Jose, USA. This date is about 15 days ahead compared to the launch of its predecessors. Citing Samsung, the report added that the sales will "begin immediately[translated text]".

Samsung reportedly also considered San Francisco and Seoul for the event. The Elec claims the location was decided after cooperation from Google. For the unversed, the headquarters of Google and Apple are in San Jose.

Samsung Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, S24 Ultra Pre-Order (Expectations)

According to the report, the pre-orders for the Galaxy S24 series will begin immediately after launch. In the company's home country, these dates could be January 19 to January 25. The early deliveries for the smartphone are expected to begin on January 26 and last until January 30. These devices could be available generally from January 30.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Series: What To Expect

According to reports, the S24 and S24+ could have a 50MP primary lens, 12MP ultrawide and 10MP 3x telephoto rear sensors and a 12MP selfie shooter. Speaking of the Ultra model, the handset could offer a 200MP primary, 12MP ultrawide, 10MP 3x telephoto and 50MP 5x zoom back lens. On the front, the handset could have a 12MP selfie shooter.

The Ultra device could have a 6.78-inch QHD+ AMOLED 120Hz screen and a Titanium frame. These handsets could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor in select markets.
