Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7: Samsung has officially confirmed that its next generation of foldable smartphones — the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 — will launch on July 9, 2025. Alongside the announcement, the company has opened pre-reservations not just for the two foldables but also for the Galaxy Buds Core and Galaxy Watch 8.
This means that fans looking to get their hands on these devices early can now reserve them ahead of the official launch and even receive them before they hit retail stores.

Pre-Reservation Details and Benefits
Samsung has kicked off the pre-reservation phase for its upcoming Galaxy lineup in India. Starting at just Rs. 1999, interested buyers can book the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Buds Core, or Galaxy Watch 8 via the Samsung India website, Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung Exclusive Stores, or through partnered offline retailers.
As for perks, Samsung claims that those who pre-reserve will be eligible for benefits worth up to Rs. 5999 when they go on to purchase any of the new Galaxy devices. However, the exact nature of those benefits hasn’t been disclosed yet — Samsung is keeping those details under wraps until the event.
What the company has shared is a bold promise: “better performance, sharper cameras, and smarter ways to stay connected. And Galaxy AI goes beyond what devices can do — it’s about how people interact with them.”
Expected Pricing for the Foldables
While official pricing hasn’t been confirmed yet, leaks suggest a potential price hike this year in select markets. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is rumoured to cost around EUR 2,309.03, which translates to approximately Rs. 2,30,000 in India. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 could be priced at EUR 1,425.51, or roughly Rs. 1,43,000.
That said, it’s wise to hold off on final decisions until Samsung officially reveals India-specific pricing. With pre-reservations now open, interested buyers will soon have more clarity on whether these new foldables offer enough value for the price.
As the July 9 launch draws closer, anticipation is mounting not only for the new hardware but also for the next phase of Samsung’s AI-driven experience across its devices.
