Sennheiser Premium Wireless Headphones: Sennheiser has officially brought the HDB 630 to India, priced at Rs 44,990. On paper, the number looks hefty, but the brand is positioning this headset as a no-compromise wireless option for listeners who want refined, detailed sound without being tethered to a cable. To add more value, Sennheiser is also bundling complimentary Accentum Open earbuds worth Rs 12,990 for users who pre-book the headphones.
Designed for Listeners Who Want More Than Just ANC and Bass
This is not a mass-market audio product. It’s aimed squarely at those who care about spacious mids, clean highs and balanced signature — essentially listeners who demand that music sound fuller and more realistic. As the company describes it, the HDB 630 intends to offer “uncompromising, high-fidelity sound wherever they go.”

Hi-Res Bluetooth: The Key Component Behind the Push for True Fidelity
The standout element here is the BTD 700 Hi-Res Bluetooth dongle, a USB-C accessory that ensures 24-bit / 96 kHz high-resolution playback regardless of the device you connect. This bypasses Bluetooth limitations many audiophile users routinely complain about.

Sennheiser says the tuning is intentionally neutral, with “refined mids” and “expansive treble”, all aimed at delivering a natural soundstage that stays close to the original recording.
New Transducer Design for Cleaner, Wider Sound
The HDB 630 features a newly developed transducer system with an optimised magnet mesh and improved acoustic back volume. According to Sennheiser, this results in “cleaner bass, smoother mids, and airy treble”, giving listeners a lifelike sense of detail even with a closed-back form factor.
Introducing the product, Saahil Kumar, general manager of Sonova Consumer Hearing, said, “The HDB 630 redefines what wireless audiophile sound can be. It brings together Sennheiser’s acoustic craftsmanship, advanced tuning, and long-lasting comfort – allowing listeners to experience true sound fidelity wherever life takes them.”
Wireless Audiophile Battle Begins in India
India is now beginning to see brands attempt something that, for years, seemed impossible — replicating premium wired sound signatures in wireless headphones. Earlier, JBL made the push with the Tour One M3 and Tour Pro 3. Now Sennheiser is stepping in with a more serious, audiophile-leaning pitch.

While these products cost significantly more than mainstream wireless ANC headphones, the trade-off appears clear: sound quality first, convenience second.
Sennheiser has set the benchmark high with the HDB 630, but the real question remains — will it meet the expectations of listeners who know exactly how their music should sound? A deeper look is coming soon.
