Vivo offers one of the best camera options in the market. It is all set to launch in the Chinese market, heavily focusing on the camera. The Vivo X200 Ultra has a single telephoto camera, unlike the two cameras that the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Find X8 Ultra and Xiaomi 15 Ultra have. In this article, we will discuss the Vivo X200 Ultra and check out the Vivo X200 Ultra specifications.

Vivo's X Series has established itself for its emphasis on camera capabilities, with the Vivo X200 Pro and Vivo X200 already making their debut in the Indian market earlier this year. Following these releases, rumours have been circulating about the potential introduction of the Vivo X200 Ultra.

Vivo X200 Ultra Teased by Vivo CEO

Vivo is now preparing to launch the device in China, they have already teased its release ahead of its launch. As per the reports, it will deliver a much-improved camera experience compared to its predecessor, the Vivo X100 Ultra, along with upgrades in design and custom chipsets. Vivo has also showcased its video stabilization capabilities, comparing it to the iPhone 16 Pro’s camera stabilisation.

The Vivo Product manager, Han Boxiao posted a video online showcasing the Vivo X200 Ultra’s video performance against the iPhone 16 Pro Max. The videos show significantly better stabilisation on Vivo X200 Ultra. It also confirms that the phone will come with an ultra-wide camera lens, bringing full-focus optical image stabilisation to all camera lenses. It is also most likely to support 10-bit log video recording and 4K at 120 FPS.

We've got a look at the new device's low-light camera skills, putting it head-to-head with the iPhone 16 Pro Max and even pro gear like the Canon 5D Mark IV through a video and unboxing photos. Looks like it will feature a 50MP Sony LYT-818 sensor for the ultra-wide shots, plus it'll have two special chips, the Vivo V3+ and Vivo V S1, just for cameras and image processing.

Vivo X200 Ultra : What Else?

Vivo X200 Ultra will most likely feature a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the chipset found in others like Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. It might get a 12GB and 16 GB RAM variant. Also, on the display front, we can expect it to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with LTPO technology and a triple rear camera setup featuring 50MP(Ultrawide) + 50MP(Main) + 200MP(Periscope telephoto).

Vivo X200 Ultra : Conclusion

It appears that Vivo has revisited the ISOCELL HP9 sensor for its latest iteration, albeit with an enhanced aperture. Notably, the upgraded telephoto camera is capable of capturing images natively at 85 mm. Preliminary results indicate that images obtained at 10x (230 mm), 20x (460 mm) and 30x (690 mm) magnification retain their quality even in low-light conditions. Consequently, it is advisable to await the publication of independent reviews prior to forming a definitive opinion on the camera's performance.
