WhatsApp continues to be in the news for introducing new features on its smartphone platforms - iOS and Android. In the latest update, the company is rolling out the functionality to edit message captions in media such as pictures and videos in the stable build on iOS.
According to WABetaInfo, the functionality is rolling out in the build version: 23.16.72. You can head to the Apple App Store to download the latest version to test the feature. In case you do not receive the functionality yet, it will likely roll out in the upcoming weeks.

How To Edit WhatsApp Messages With Media Captions?
An iPhone user can tap and hold a message with captions to find the editing option. If this feature does not pop up, you may have to wait for some weeks for feature visibility.
In another series of updates, the company is testing the option to send messages for review in group chats. After the feature rolls out, the functionality will let participants forward messages sent in a group for admin review. The admin will have two options to deal with the message: Delete the message or remove the original message sender from the group.
The company was also testing the voice chats feature on Android with the capability to communicate via audio. A maximum of up to 32 participants will be allowed in this chat, WABetaInfo reports. Further, the company rolled out animated avatars that can be used during group chats on Android and iOS in the beta channel. Owing to the interesting spin that the avatars can add to messages, this feature may debut in the stable version soon.
