WhatsApp, an instant messaging app, regularly grabs headlines in the media for new and upcoming features. The company recently introduced 60 seconds video message feature that is now rolling out to users worldwide. In the latest update, the social media giant is introducing 'send for admin review' option in group chats in its beta program on Android.

According to WABetaInfo, the feature is rolling in beta version '2.23.16.18' to some testers. Users can install the latest update from Google Play Store and see if it is available in their build. However, this might not be available to all testers in this stated version, the platform noted. In the screengrab of "Group settings" shared in the report, the option is labelled as "send for admin review".

"Allow group members to send messages to group admins for review," the description of the feature reads. After enabling the toggle, group participants can report messages to group admins for review. An admin will have two options to take action: delete the message or remove the sender from the WhatsApp group.

According to the report, this will allow an admin to ensure the chats are respectful and do not spoil the environment of the group. Plus, this will ease the process of keeping track of notable events in a group. The messages sent for review will be placed in a separate section within the info screen. A user can send a chat for review via the message options in a group.
