Xiaomi is preparing to introduce its upcoming flagship series, the Xiaomi 17 series, in China later this month. Although the company hasn’t announced the exact launch date till now, new leaks emerged recently which hint that this series may go on sale from September 30. The series will include the Xiaomi 17, the Xiaomi 17 Pro and the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, for all of which pre-sales are already taking place on Mi Mall in China.

The product launch is also said to bring the new Xiaomi Pad 8 series alongside the smartphones.

Xiaomi 17 Series Launch Date and Pre-Orders

The Xiaomi 17 series event is going to be hosted on September 30 in China, as per GizmoChina's report, which is based on information received from undisclosed individuals. Xiaomi has announced that the phones will launch in this month but has not revealed the exact date.

Now, pre-orders are even live in China where the anticipation is also strong for the next flagship pair.

Xiaomi 17 Series: Key Highlights

 

Chipset: Featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, these are among the first few smartphones to launch on the new platform.

 

 

Cameras: Will come with Leica-branded triple camera setups - Xiaomi’s premium photography partnership will continue.

 

 

Software: Expected to be powered by HyperOS 3, which is built on Android 16.

 

 

Biometrics: Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.

What’s Different This Year?
