YouTube Music, a Google-owned audio streaming platform has a new comment section in its ‘Now Playing’ option. The new add-on will now allow users to post comments and read them directly from the application. However, the redesign with the new feature is currently rolling out to Android and iOS users globally, according to a report by 9to5Google.

Existing comments from the official song video on YouTube are displayed in the new comments button. Additionally, users can type their own content, which gives the app's social component greater interest. Under the cover image is where you'll find the comment button. A panel slides up on the screen when a user clicks the button. Previously hidden and only accessible when users tapped on the album cover, the like/dislike, save, share, download, and radio icons are now displayed next to the comments.

Meanwhile, for music fans worldwide, YouTube Music released a helpful live lyrics function late last month on Android and iOS. Now Playing's current Lyrics tab receives an upgrade with a new look and larger text that has much better space. When the song skips to the next line, the page will update and move.

Furthermore, a new feature that will let users search for songs on the platform by humming has also been made public by Google-owned YouTube. Users participating in the experiment have the option to switch from YouTube voice search to the new song search function, hum or record the song they are looking for for at least three seconds, and the music will be recognised.
